HOW DOES A CUSTOM BOX COMMISSION WORK?
1. Tell us what it’s for
Share what you’d like the box to hold, approximate dimensions if known, and any inspiration or personalization you have in mind.
2. Design the details
DDC will work with you to determine the size, wood, engraving, hardware, and other design details appropriate for your project.
3. We handcraft your box
Once the design and estimate are approved, your project enters DDC’s commission queue and the build begins.
EVERY PIECE OF WOOD IS DIFFERENT
Natural wood varies in grain, color, texture, and character. DDC considers those variations part of the beauty of working with real wood and selects materials with the finished piece in mind.
Whenever possible, DDC sources wood from sustainable suppliers and incorporates reclaimed or upcycled materials into its work.
