Our dear friend Christina of Christina Rogers Photography had five large prints of her work that needed frames. we created her four unique wooden frames out of exotic hardwoods, and as a surprise for her 40th birthday, one super special upcycled Douglas fir frame for her largest print.
Exotic hardwoods pictured are Orange Padauk, Purple Heart, Okoume, and Zebrawood. They boast beautiful unique colors and grains that we paired specifically with each image to create the most vibrant and eye-catching combination possible.
About Exotic Hardwoods:
Exotic hardwoods are called ‘exotic’ because they refer to species imported from outside of North America.
These species can come from tropical climates such the Amazon region or equatorial Africa, but they may also come from dry climates, such as Mexico or Australia.
